Manual Structure Purpose of this manual This manual is the maintenance manual of Digital Film Sound Encoder DFR-E3000. This manual is intended for use by trained system and service engineers, and describes overall information based on the service at a part level.

The power supply can be damaged if the exhaust vent (rear panel) and air intake (front panel) are blocked or the fan is Live (Brown) stopped. The rear side of the DFR-E3000 should be at least 20 cm Safety earth (Green/Yellow) (8 inches) away from walls for ventilation and Neutral (Blue) maintenance.
The DFR-E3000 can be mounted in a 19-inch standard rack. . When the DFR-E3000 or the peripheral equipment is mounted in a 19-inch standard rack, it is recom- mended to install a ventilation fan to prevent a temperature rise in the rack.
