    Introduction This Programming Manual provides for programming the Strata DK40 digital business telephone system. It is intended for qualified service technicians and system programmers. The Installation and Maintenance (I&M) Manual, a companion book, covers the installation and maintenance information and instructions for the Strata DK40 system.

    This Programming Manual has a new and improved format intended to make programming procedures easier. The record sheets have legends that show you specific port configurations for the Strata DK40 system. After using the legends, copy the generic record sheets as required to accommodate your system ports and settings.

    Fill out the record sheets that are provided, then enter this data using a 20-button LCD digital (DKT) or electronic (EKT) telephone. Strata DK40 enables you to enter data from an on-site or off-site personal computer with Toshiba DK Admin software. Toshiba highly recommends this easier method of programming.
