Manual Structure Purpose of this manual This manual is the Service Manual of the color video camera SSC-DC593/DC593P/ DC598P. This manual contains the service overview, circuit descrip-tion, adjustments, spare parts, semiconductor pin assignments, block diagrams, schematic diagrams and board layouts.

The CCD drive pulse signal circuit generates a CCD horizontal/vertical drive pulse and sample & hold pulse using TG (IC202) to which a main clock of 57 MHz is input. The sync signal sent to TG is obtained from SG in IC204. SSC-DC593/DC593P/DC598P (E)
2-2-4. External Sync Circuit This camera is compatible with VS synchronization and MPX-VD synchronization (SSC-DC690) or LL synchronization (SSC-DC593/593P/598P). The sync source VS signal from pin 13 of CN203 is clamped using IC205 and then input to pin 34 of IC204 so as to constitute VReset/H-PLL. The H-phase comparison output signal at pin 23 of IC204 is passed through a low-pass filter (LPF) around IC503 and reflected on internal master LC-type VCO (around IC508).
The I/O circuit sends the external I/O signal of CN701, connected with the CT-221 board on the rear panel, through a floating circuit (around PH703). 2-3-4.
