Check all of the Rackmount kit items
The rackmount kit for installation into a rack is supplied with the server. First check that none of the
following items are missing. If any items are missing or defective, contact an office listed in the "Contact
Information" of the "Start Guide".

Installing the server into the rack
The procedure for installation to the server into the rack is explained here.
The left or the right in this manual is defined when the rack is viewed from the front.
- Be sure to secure the rack with stabilizers to prevent the device from tipping over. For details on installing the rack, refer to the
manual provided with the rack.
- The weight of the server exceeds 35kg. When you carry the server, make sure more than three people do it to secure the
right and left sides and the bottom of the body.

Open both the front and rear doors of
the rack.

Check where to attach the slide rail and
rack nuts.
As seen in the figure below, the base surface of the
server must be positioned at where the intervals
between the rack bracket holes are narrow.

Attach M5 rack nuts.
Use 4U per device. Insert the latches of the rack nuts
from the inside of the rack bracket into 2nd and 11th
holes (counting from the position where the server is
installed) to attach the rack nuts.

Fix the slide rails to the rack. Draw out the inner rails, and attach the inner rail to the server. Fix the rear side first. Secure them by inserting the pins of the slide rail to the Put the server on so that the ledge parts in the inner first and the third hole of the slide rail. - Page 3 After connecting the peripheral devices, tie all the cables and fix them with the release tie to the cable holder provided with the rack.
