A good microwave cookbook is a valuable asset. Check it for microwave cooking principles, techniques, hints and recipes. See pages 29 and 30 for ordering the Ultimate Accessory, the SHARP CAROUSEL MICROWAVE COOKBOOK. NEVER use the oven without the turntable and support nor turn the turntable over so that a large dish could be placed in the oven.
A micro- wave-safe thermometer will assist you in determining correct doneness and assure you that foods have been cooked to safe temperatures. Sharp is not responsible for any damage to the oven when acces- sories are used.
• Cover foods while cooking. Check recipe or cook- book for suggestions: paper towels, wax paper, microwave plastic wrap or a lid. Covers prevent spattering and help foods to cook evenly. • Shield with small flat pieces of aluminum foil any thin areas of meat or poultry to prevent overcooking before dense, thick areas are cooked thoroughly.

S P E C I A L F E A T U R E S SENSOR COOKING Sharp's Sensor is a semi-conductor device that detects the vapor (moisture and humidity) emitted from the food as it heats. The sensor adjusts the cooking times and power level for various foods and quantities.

Follow package directions for the correct amount of water or milk. To prevent boilovers, it is very important to choose a large container because microwave cooking of cereal causes high boiling. When oven stops, stir and touch START/Touch On. After cooking, stir and let stand, covered, for 2 minutes.
