    Oven - Care and Cleaning Catalytic walls The walls with a catalytic coating are self-cleaning. They absorb fat which collects on walls while the oven operates. To support this self-cleaning process heat the oven without any food regularly: Open the oven door. The oven light turns on automatically. Remove all accessories from the oven.
