    Step 5 : Setting the clock Using the Auto Clock Set feature SET UP Some TV and cable channels transmit time signals with their broadcasts. Your DVD- VCR can pick up this time signal to automatically set the clock. The Auto Clock Set feature works only if a channel in your area is broadcasting a time signal.

    Virtual surround setting When you connect a stereo TV or 2 front speakers, SURROUND lets you enjoy surround sound effects by using sound imaging to create SURROUND virtual rear speakers from the sound of the front speakers without using actual rear speakers. This function is designed to work with the LINE OUT AUDIO L/R jacks.

See the instructions of the CD-R/RW device or recording software (not supplied) for details on the recording format.
