  • Page 8 Introduction This Installation Manual is designed to serve as an overall technical reference for the Panasonic Digital Super Hybrid System, KX-TD500. It provides instructions for installing the hardware, and programming the system using the Maintenance Console software for a PC.

Expansion Shelf An optional Expansion Shelf consists of its own power supply and 14 Free Slots for mounting any optional cards.

Safety Installation Instructions When installing telephone wiring, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and injury to persons, including the following: Never install telephone wiring during a lightning storm.
