KDF-37H1000 Self Diagnosis SELF-DIAGNOSTIC FUNCTION Supported model The units in this manual contain a self-diagnostic function. If an error occurs, the POWER/STANDBY will automatically begin to fl ash. The number of times the LED fl ashes translates to a probable source of the problem. A defi nition of the POWER/STANDBY fl ash indicators is listed in the instruction manual for the user’s knowledge and reference.

HAM BOARD REMOVAL Remove one screw, +BVTP2 4X16 Disconnect a connector from HAM board Remove 2 screws for HAM board removal, +BVTP 3x12 TYPE2 Rear Cover HAM PWB Control Botton Bracket 1-3. SCREEN FRAME REMOVAL All of the components of this model can be reached by removing the Screen Frame Assembly.

KDF-37H1000 SECTION 2: CIRCUIT ADJUSTMENTS 2-1. USING THE REMOTE COMMANDER 2-3. VIEWING THE SERVICE MENUS FOR ELECTRICAL ADJUSTMENTS Use the Remote Commander to view the BE and Digital service menus options. To adjust various set features, use the Remote Commander to put the set into service mode to display the service menus and categories.
4. The fi rst adjustment item to display is SZID. The initial data value of the SZID adjustment item is set to 0 and displays the Model name as KDF-37H1000. To change the Model name to the correct mode, press 3 on the Remote Commander until the correct Model name MUTING displays.
Product Support General Settings 5. Press the buttons on the Remote Commander to select the Contact Sony option, and then press the button. 5. Press the button on the Remote Commander to select the Lamp 6. Verify the changes you made in Service Mode are correct.

Wait at least 30 minutes after unplugging the Sony recommends that you replace the lamp (1) after approximately 8,000 hours of use; (2) when power cord to allow the lamp to cool down before replacing it.
