To connect the DIGITAL MEDIA PORT adapter
Connect the supplied DIGITAL MEDIA PORT adapter (TDM-BT1) to the DMPORT1 jack on the unit
or other DIGITAL MEDIA PORT adapter to the DMPORT2 jack on the unit. For details of the
DIGITAL MEDIA PORT adapter, see "Using the DIGITAL MEDIA PORT Adapter" (page 75).

Tip
• When listening to MP3 or other compressed music using a portable audio source, you can enhance the sound.
Connect the DIGITAL MEDIA PORT adapter. Press FUNCTION to select "DMPORT1" or "DMPORT2." Press
SOUND FIELD repeatedly until "AUTO" or "P.AUDIO" appears in the front panel display.
To cancel, select "2CH STEREO."
• Insert the DIGITAL MEDIA PORT adapter in the jack oriented correctly as the connector of the DIGITAL MEDIA
PORT adapter is polar.
