12. Auto White Balance Adjustment
Adjust to the proper auto white balance output data.
If it is not correct, auto white balance and color reproducibility will
be poor.

Adjusting method:
1)
Place the C14 filter for color temperature correction on the
lens.
2)
Select page: 0, address: 01, and set data: 01.
3)
Select page: D, address: 11, and set data: 12, and press the
PAUSE button of the adjustment remote commander.
4)
Select page: 6, address: 00, and set data: 01.
5)
Select page: 6, address: 01, and set data: 3F, and press the
PAUSE button of the adjustment remote commander.
6)
Select page: 6, address: 04, and set data: 04.
7)
Select page: F, address: 34, change the data and adjust the
average value of the DDS display data (Note 2) to the R ratio
specified value.
8)
Press the PAUSE button of the adjustment remote commander.
9)
Select page: 6, address: 04, and set data: 05.
10) Select page: F, address: 35, change the data and adjust the
average value of the DDS display data (Note 2) to the B ratio
specified value.
11) Press the PAUSE button of the adjustment remote commander.
Processing after Completing Adjustments:
1)
Select page: D, address: 11, and set data: 10, and press the
PAUSE button of the adjustment remote commander.
2)
Select page: 0, address: 01, and set data: 00.
3)
Select page: 6, address: 00, and set data: 00.
4)
Select page: 6, address: 01, and set data: 00, and press the
PAUSE button of the adjustment remote commander.
5)
Select page: 6, address: 04, and set data: 00.

Checking method:
1)
Check that the lens is not covered with either filter.
2)
Select page: 6, address: 01, set data: 0F, and press the PAUSE
button of the adjustment remote commander.
3)
Check that the center of the white luminance point is within
the circle shown Fig. 5-1-10 (A).
4)
Select page: 6, address: 01, set data: 23, and press the PAUSE
button of the adjustment remote commander.
5)
Place the C14 filter on the lens.
6)
Check that the center of the white luminance point settles in
the circle shown Fig. 5-1-10 (B).
7)
Remove the C14 filter, and place the ND filter 1.3 (1.0 + 0.3)
on the lens.
8)
Check that the white luminance point stopped moving, and then
remove the ND filter 1.3.
9)
Check that the center of the white luminance point settles within
the circle shown Fig. 5-1-10 (C).
Processing after Completing Adjustments:
1)
Select page: 6, address: 01, and set data: 00, and press the
PAUSE button of the adjustment remote commander.
